The immaculate, cerulean sky
hangs an ornament
that casts its tendrils
to choke the world.
Revealing all the land
and man made creation.
Shone through
Shone through the structures,
shadows of gnarled metal
litter the paved streets.
concrete chokes the earth,
hidden under foot.
How long must I
be blinded by the sunlight?
How long must I
be blinded by the sunlight?
How long must I
be blinded by the sunlight?
How long must I
be blinded by the sunlight?
The stars I was wrought from are gone from this plane.
Alas, there in those places will finally be somewhere called home.
A new existence in death where I can bask in true silence.
Perhaps there I can relinquish my soul and become whole, once more.
I was doomed from the very beginning.
I hope there is peace beneath the pale of this blue, dimly lit planet.

Thank Goddess for this wondrous album, which I should have picked up aeons ago. The otherworldly atmosphere this trio weaves is utterly intoxicating and wholly (holy) their own.
Sincerest thanks for putting this and Feminazgul’s other albums in the feed today @Sælzer Bub; your timing was impeccable! MJ

An outstanding Extreme doom death album, in the best tradition. The funerary atmosphere reminds of Evoken ('Centuries of ooze" bears striking similarities, for my delight). It is overall sharp, dark, hypnotic and unrelenting. One of those rare convincing new bands that hold proud the legacy of the biggest names. Bertrand Marchal
